Welcome to Sweet Beauty Esthetics, I’m Alyssa, the heart and soul behind this fun-loving, ever-growing beauty hub that started humbly in my home back in 2019. From those cozy beginnings, we've blossomed into our charming spot on Lancaster St, as of September 2020 – a perfect blend of homey and chic, just for you.
Now, let's talk team – our fabulous fam! Yes, we’ve got not one, but two Sarahs (Sarah M joined us in August 2022, and Sarah E in December 2022). A little confusing? Maybe. Double the awesomeness? Absolutely! You’ll love them both, we promise. And then there's Shadow, our star from Conestoga College's esthetics program. She started her co-op with us in September 2023 and quickly became our Junior Esthetician, bringing fresh energy and skills to our team.

Sarah Mills
ESTHETICIAN
Sarah M is our lash lifting guru! She has been working in the beauty industry for the past 8 years. She is passionate about helping her clients to feel confident and beautiful.
Sarah graduated from the Conestoga College Practical Nursing Program becoming a registered Practical Nurse in 2020. She works currently as a home health care nurse and is in charge of patients of all ages in their homes. We’re blessed to have Sarah working part time at Sweet Beauty Esthetics offering Lash Lifts, Brow Laminations, Brow Waxing, Spray Tanning, Teeth Whitening, and Ear Piercings. She loves to share how these self care services can make such a big difference in your self confidence.
When Sarah isn’t working her butt off you can find her enjoying her free time with her family and friends, watching Grey’s Anatomy, hanging with her skinny pigs (hairless guinea pigs), or going on adventurous walks in the woods!

Sarah Ellard
ESTHETICIAN
Sarah E is our waxing wizard and skilled esthetician with over a decade of experience in the field. She earned her diploma from Blanche McDonald in Vancouver, BC, and has since worked in several spas and medi spas, gaining expertise in a wide range of spa services. However, her area of specialization is full-body waxing, which she performs with great care and skill.
Sarah has a warm and friendly personality that puts her clients at ease. She understands that waxing can be a sensitive experience, and she strives to make the process as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Her waxing techniques are top-notch, and her clients rave about her attention to detail and the excellent results she delivers.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her large family of eight siblings. She also makes time for exercise and relaxation, regularly hitting the gym and taking yoga classes. Her passion for health and beauty extends beyond her work as an esthetician; she earned an undergraduate degree in health sciences.
Sarah is a talented and dedicated esthetician who takes great pride in her work and cares deeply about her clients' well-being. Be sure to book your next wax with her!

Shadow Power
JUNIOR ESTHETICIAN
Shadow is currently mastering her skills in the last semester of her esthetic program at Conestoga College. Since beginning her educational journey in September 2022, Shadow has quickly become a beloved part of our team, initially joining us for a co-op in September 2023, and impressively securing her position by November 2023.
At Sweet Beauty, Shadow is cultivating her clientele, offering a curated range of services. Including lash lifts, brow laminations, waxing services excluding Brazilian and facial waxing, permanent jewellery services add a touch of lasting elegance.
Shadow’s passion extends beyond the treatments she provides; her goal is to empower her clients through self-care rituals that enhance their innate beauty and boost self-confidence. As she prepares to complete her formal education, her commitment to her craft is evident in the meticulous care she delivers in every session. It's been an incredible seven-year journey in the beauty industry, fueled by my passion for creating a space where everyone feels at home and celebrated. At Sweet Beauty, we’re all about genuine care, top-notch service, and embracing the beauty in each individual.
My love for esthetics is deeply rooted in the joy of helping clients shine with confidence and beauty. It's not just about the treatments; it’s about the entire experience – personal, detailed, and crafted with care. I believe in doing things right, paying attention to the smallest details, and ensuring each client leaves feeling better than they walked in.
When I step out of Sweet Beauty Esthetics, I go home my love, Ben, and our delightful furry family – Kaiser, Akira, and Chubbz - then I dive into the world of gardening, cultivating a diverse mix of fruits, herbs, and vegetables, as well as my collection o fdecorative plants that's ever-expanding. Stargazing also captivates me; travel is my new found weakness I love the great outdoors fishing, camping, hiking, and reveling in the lively spirit of festivals. These pursuits are more than just hobbies; they are my way of cherishing and embracing life's moments away from the salon.
And of course, my friends, family, and our incredible Sweet Beauty team are the cherries on top of this sweet life. We’re more than just a beauty bar; we're a community, a place to unwind, laugh, and be yourself.
