    •Shower before your appointment because it is recommended to avoid hot showers, baths, steam rooms, and saunas for at least 24 hours.

    •Remember you’ll need an exfoliant for after.

  • Make sure the area is clean, free from creams, oils, and deodorants. It’s essential to shave the night before but avoid other hair removal methods like waxing or epilating.

  • Yes, absolutely! You may be a little more sensitive during this time, but as long as you wear a fresh tampon or clean menstrual cup to your appointment, you’re good to go! We also always have wipes and tampons on hand at the shop if you need a quick freshen up.

  • The number of sessions needed is based on many factors, including hair volume, shaving frequency, age, hormone levels, hair color, etc. Generally, 4-8 sessions are needed for regular hair patterns.

  • The time between sessions varies based on the treatment area and individual factors. Your esthetician will provide a personalized schedule but generally anything on the face is every 4 weeks and on the neck down is every 8 weeks.
